Science Olympiad Coaches

Supply Elementary is looking for volunteers to coach Science Olympiad events one day a week from 3:45 - 5:00, October through April. In April, we have our competition at Shallotte Middle School. Like a track meet, students compete for medals in their individual events and the team competes for overall winners.
We are looking for people who are strong in math, engineering, geology, astronomy, or biology. Each coach or pair of coaches would work with 4 students to teach them according to the guidelines of the events. The event rules and guidelines can be found here:
We are looking for people to coach Backyard Biologist, Data Crunchers, Just Plane Awesome, Rock Star, and Sky Quest.
The students who participate must have good academics, good attendance, and must maintain good behavior throughout the year.
